Prisca Theologia
I promised you all that I would share more about the Prisca Theologia and Mystery School tradition which I’ve embarked on. It really extends from the alchemical principles and mythology I learned in my Druid studies and expands out to an understanding of how all religions are teaching the same truths.
The following video gives a tiny sampling of how this works.
One question which many of you may have is how polytheism and monotheism fit into this understanding. For awhile now, I have been coming to the realization that polytheism is a misunderstanding of the mythologies. There is but one God, and there are many ways of seeing Him, as well as many other nature spirits and entities who have been labeled as gods. This is a topic I will talk more about again in another post (how we can know this is true), but wanted to touch on it here, as I know many in this circle will be wondering about it.
But back to the topic at hand. Gnosticism, Kabbala, hermeticism, alchemy, Freemasonry, the seven classical liberal arts, and The Mystery School tradition is huge, so to explain how this fits with a true understanding of Christianity isn’t possible in one post, and is in fact a pursuit that takes lifetimes.
However, for myself, I’ve come to the conclusion after delving into it, that the following quote rings true for me.
From: Gnosticism Defined: The Tenets of the Order, The Gnostic Church and Academy of Lord Jesus Christ
Because we are a gnostic Order we teach the principles and ideas of the Mystery School Tradition, with our core teaching being that of the Prisca Theologia. We thus accept all those who genuinely seek the Almighty regardless of their personal religious inclinations or religious beliefs. With this stated, Christ is our central focus and we declare the doctrines of Christ to be the culmination and most perfect expression of the Mystery School Teachings available to man in our time. We believe just as the prophet Paul exclaimed in Ephesians 4:4-7:
“There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.”
So if I haven’t scared you away yet, I think you will find as we go forward, that the Wheel of the Year celebrations and discussions we engage in of the Material and Heavenly realms will continue to include our beautiful “pagan” ways of understanding as well as embracing the ways these same concepts are taught within the magic of Christianity.
Besides the quote above, why do I care about Christianity? Because that is the tradition I was raised in, and it honors my ancestors and heritage. And its truth is actually encoded within our English language. When we speak, we are casting spells into the world, and when we understand what is encoded into our language, we can use it for good.

Now if you are not interested in all this, that’s perfectly fine, and I’ll be offering a lot of content that focuses on other areas too. But if you like to go deep, this is definitely the place for you. (Yet no matter how much esoteric knowledge you gain, if you don’t learn it with the intention of love and goodness, you will end up working instead for the forces of darkness.)
I am a Gemini rising who loves to explore and I am endlessly curious. AND my moon is in Scorpio so I love to go deep. But I am NOT a guru. I am a friend who will be happy to take your hand and travel alongside anyone who is earnestly seeking The Way in this journey of life.

Jean
P.S. If you would like to further explore this concept, I highly recommend this video from The Gnostic Academy.
