Children’s nature and mystery school for the whole family 🐞
Each meetup intertwines teachings of The Mysteries with songs, arts and crafts, nature walks, games, and stories. We use myths from all different indigenous and religious traditions, but with a main focus on the Gnostic Christian mystery tradition.
The attached video gives you a sampling of one of the lessons. Please feel free to pause it to get a good sense of the lesson. It includes both a Bible story as well as The Druid Prayer for Peace.
Another of the lessons includes the chapter called Yggdrasil, the World Tree from D’aulaires’ Book of Norse Myths for children. And another includes Arrow to the Sun: a Pueblo Indian tale by Gerald McDermott. These are just some examples of the variety of mythology woven into each lesson.
We also create lots of nature crafts using Your Wild Books by Brooke Davis. And we learn about plants and animals, constellations and star studies, and sacred geometry among other things.
But as we say in the video… It’s not just about packing our brains with facts, but uncovering new angles and applying them to our lives. Thanks a bunch for joining this ride. Let’s keep cheering and inspiring each other as we go on this journey together! I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Work days 🪴
A time to connect with the land and each other through the practical work of the upkeep of the sanctuary. No experience is necessary. You may be weeding a garden bed, carrying wood, cleaning out a chicken coop, or prepping materials for one of our classes. But whatever it is, your contribution will be so appreciated, and will give you a chance to join in community and create a beautiful space for many to enjoy. We welcome you to contact us to arrange a time as we are very flexible outside of our scheduled work days.
Crossing Hedgerows Circle Meet-ups 🌳
How can we take small steps together in community to shift our lives towards healing on all levels? Integrating spirituality and ecology to heal our lives and create deep friendships will be the purpose of this group.
In each session we will dive into a topic, sample food using our farm fresh ingredients, and experience the healing of earth, water, air, and fire on the land of Crossing Hedgerows.
There will be a variety of activities such as meditation, art, gardening, singing, crafts, magic, homesteading skills, and more! During our meet-ups, we will spiral through the different permaculture zones, as well as the elements, to gain greater understanding of our ecosystems and how to become empowered in our lives to create ever more inner and outer resiliency and abundance. Our approach will be with openness and curiosity, rather than doom and gloom negativity.

We come together to celebrate the turning of the seasons and God’s promise of renewal and rebirth. These include potlucks, bonfires, and ceremonies incorporating the mystical traditions and ancient wisdom of our ancestors.
